    Katherine Miley, PsyD

    Co-Founder & Director of Assessments

    Katie selects and applies assessment tools to unlock insights to support the goals of individuals and organizations. Assessments can be a vehicle to gain information. She offers the expertise to interpret and integrate results for individualized feedback. Identifying strengths and skills to develop and support planning for coaching and consulting.

     

    About Katie

    Katie taps decades of experience as a clinician and educator to guide coaching and consultation services. Her passion for discovery links the unique gifts each individual possesses with their values and goals. Aligning the goals of individuals and organizations allows each member of a team to recognize their contributions.

    Before co-founding Miley Performance Group, Katie held a range of clinical positions in inpatient and outpatient settings. She founded a clinical private practice where she worked with individuals, couples, and families. She has held administrative positions in higher education with Argosy University and is a core faculty member at Capella University where she has done extensive online course development and data analytics for clinical counseling programs.

     

    Katie earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Adler University and holds a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Iowa are in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management and Substance Abuse Counseling respectively. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois.

    Co-Founder & Head of Consulting Strategy and Coaching Services

    Mike coaches, consults, and advises executives, managers, and other motivated individuals seeking improved organizational effectiveness, accelerated organizational change, transformative leadership skills, and career advancement. Leveraging nearly three decades of experience in sales and leadership, he brings a broad perspective and understanding of the challenges leaders face today and in the future.

     

    Mike strives to assist individuals and organizations looking to realize their full potential by providing consulting and advising services, implementing individual and team coaching sessions, and facilitating discussions and presentations on a broad set of topics. He is an Executive, Business, Leadership, & Career Coach. Unlike most consulting firms, his goal is always to leave his clients with the tools, self-awareness, and processes needed to reach their goals. He has designed and implemented organizational change initiatives resulting in increased revenue, enhanced market share, improved executive team effectiveness, and organizational culture alignment with new business strategies.

    Before co-founding Miley Performance Group, Mike worked at Motorola, Leo Burnett, Apple, and Jamf, where he served in several pre-sales engineering, program development, and management positions.

     

    Mike is a Ph.D. Candidate in Capella University's Business Strategy and Innovation program. He also holds the International Coaching Federation's Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification and the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching's (iPEC) Proffessional Certified Coach (CPC) certification. He holds a marketing-focused MBA from Argosy University and a BS in Communications from the University of Illinois. He also completed the Professional Pilot Program at the University of Illinois and is an active flight instructor

    Associate Certified Coach (ACC)

    ICF - International Coaching Federation

    Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential-holders are trained (60+ hours) and experienced (100+ hours) coaches. They have demonstrated knowledge and emerging proficiency in the application of the ICF Core Competencies, Code of Ethics, and definition of coaching. Earners show a commitment to high ethical standards and have demonstrated, through a rigorous assessment, professional competence in their work with clients. The ACC must be renewed every three years.

    Certified Professional Coach

    iPEC - Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching

    Earners of the Certified Professional Coach (CPC) certification have satisfactorily completed the iPEC Coach Training Program consisting of 160 instruction and practice hours and have passed the final exam in accordance with approved International Coaching Federation (ICF) requirements. Earner demonstrates knowledge and proficiency using iPEC's proprietary method of Core Energy Coaching™ and in core competencies outlined by the ICF.

    Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP)

    Earners are proficient in the training, experience, and skills to analyze and interpret the data from the proprietary iPEC ELI Assessment results and partner with clients to uncover opportunities for deeper awareness, optimal performance, and growth.

    Earners of the COR.E Leadership Dynamics™ Specialist (CLDS) certification have completed the iPEC COR.E Dynamics™ training program. This includes training necessary to coach with a specialized focus applying the principles of Energy Leadership™ to coach for performance.
